The head of an HTML document contains the websites title tags, meta tags, and meta descriptions which are used for describing the content of the website. The body of an HTML document contains the structural elements that are displayed on through the website browser. All HTML documents are saved with a .html file extension.
The latest release of HTML is HTML 5, which improves on the already popular HTML language with additional features for developing modern responsive websites. Internet advancements such as responsive design have changed the foundations of websites and HTML.
