Facebook Marketing

Facebook Marketing

Creating a Facebook page for your business is an excellent way to market your product or services online. All of your contact information will be on your Facebook page as well as information about yourself, your employees, photographs and other interests that may attract customers to “Like” and follow you which in the end creates a wide customer base. Facebook allows you to share more about yourself as a person than your regular online business website. This will spark interest from potential customers to want to check out your store. Your online presence on Facebook will also provide you with a broader ability to provide excellent customer service to your existing customers as well as potential customers.

Customers like to interact with people whom they are purchasing products or services from and since there is no actual store to walk into your marketing strategy with a Facebook page allows you to answer questions and make comments that the general people will leave on your page.

Facebook pages can provide your customers with customer support as you update your product or service information daily. You want to get as many “Likes” as you possibly can and with this type of customer service interaction, you will watch your business grow.  Once your page is “Liked” every time you post something new on your Facebook business page it will show up for all the people who “Liked” your page.

Your customers will be receiving daily updates from you, your services, your products, and your sales. Have a competition, such as; the 50th person who “Likes” your page gets some type of discount. Customers that visit your website through your Facebook page tend to be more receptive to what you are selling than the visitor that ‘happens’ upon your business website.

When you are “Liked” you are not only reaching the person who “Liked” you but all of their friends as well. This will build interest in what your online business is all about. Talk about massive free advertising and now with the ability of cell phones to be able to browse the internet you can receive even more “Likes” and this all leads to customers.

Put on your Facebook page a daily joke or a favorite picture of the day.  You want to get like-minded people to follow you and your business. Offer sales and discounts directing people from your Facebook page to your online store page. Sales are a great thing to promote on your Facebook page, just don’t overdo it with your products or services.  Have a link to your online business page on your business Facebook page so customers can, with one click, visit your store.

Using social media is the best way to get the word out about your online business. Make sure you update it regularly and offer specials whether it’s to emails or for the 100th person who “Liked” your page. Be personable, remember, you are on the World Wide Web for everyone to see. Never say anything negative while you are using social media to promote your business, people want to see and hear positive things from you.  Happy Marketing.
