JavaScript Development Services
The language every browser runs, used properly. Interfaces, integrations and single-page apps built in the framework that fits your project — not the one that happened to be fashionable.

The Language That Runs Everywhere
JavaScript is the only programming language every browser understands, which is how it ended up running most of the interactive web — and, through Node, a large share of the servers behind it. If something on a page responds without reloading, JavaScript is doing it.
That ubiquity is also the problem. There are more frameworks than any team can sensibly evaluate, and the wrong choice stays expensive for years. We pick based on what the project needs and who has to maintain it afterwards.
Everything Included in Our JavaScript Services
Architecture, build and handover — the parts that decide whether a project is still maintainable a year later.
Interactive Site Features
Calculators, configurators, filters, maps and dynamic forms added to an existing site — written to work with your CMS instead of fighting it.
Node.js Back Ends & APIs
REST and GraphQL APIs, real-time features over WebSockets, and Node.js services that talk to the systems you already run.
Framework Selection & Architecture
Before anything is written, a recommendation in writing on which framework fits — including when the honest answer is plain JavaScript and no framework at all.
Performance & Bundle Optimization
Code splitting, lazy loading and dependency audits, because a slow JavaScript app gives away the responsiveness it was supposed to buy you.
Migration & Modernization
Moving off jQuery, upgrading from AngularJS, or untangling what the last developer left behind — incrementally, without freezing new work.

The Right Framework, Not the Fashionable One
React, Vue, Angular and jQuery all still have jobs they do well. React has the deepest ecosystem and the largest hiring pool. Vue is the gentlest for a small team to pick up. Angular brings structure that large teams benefit from. jQuery is still the pragmatic answer for adding behaviour to a handful of pages.
We will tell you which one fits, and we will tell you when you do not need a framework at all. A project that could have been three hundred lines of plain JavaScript should not become a build pipeline and a dependency tree.
Code You Can Hand to Someone Else
The measure of a JavaScript project is not how quickly version one shipped. It is whether a developer who has never seen the codebase can add a feature six months later without breaking three others.
That means readable structure, dependencies kept current and documented, and no clever tricks that only make sense to whoever wrote them. Everything we build is yours, and it is written to be handed over.
How a JavaScript Project Runs With Us
The framework decision comes first — everything else follows from it.
Requirements & Framework
We work out what it has to do, who maintains it and where it runs, then recommend a framework and an architecture in writing before any code exists.
Design & Prototype
Interfaces designed and, where it helps, a working prototype of the hardest part — so nobody discovers a problem at the end.
Build & Test
Development in short cycles you can watch, with code review, cross-browser and device testing, and a staging build you can click through as it grows.
Launch & Handover
Deployment, documentation, and a handover session with whoever maintains it — plus ongoing support if you would rather we kept doing it.
Pick the One That Fits Your Project
We build in all of these and will recommend based on your team and your timeline, not our preference.
React
The deepest ecosystem and the largest hiring pool. The safe default for a substantial front-end application.
Vue
The gentlest learning curve of the three. Strong choice when a small team has to maintain it.
Angular
Opinionated and structured. Earns its weight on large applications with several developers.
Node.js
JavaScript on the server — APIs, real-time features and services behind your front end.
React Development
Vue.js Development
Angular Development
The opinionated choice for large, long-lived applications where structure matters more than speed of setup. TypeScript throughout, with back-end services wired in cleanly.
Node.js Development
JavaScript Development: Frequently Asked Questions
Which JavaScript framework should we use?
It depends on what you are building and who maintains it afterwards. React has the largest hiring pool, Vue is the easiest for a small team to learn, and Angular suits larger teams that want strong conventions. We put the recommendation in writing before the build starts and explain the reasoning rather than asking you to take it on trust.
Do we need a framework at all?
Often not. If you are adding a few interactive features to an existing site, plain JavaScript or a small library will be quicker to build, faster to load and easier to maintain than a full framework with a build pipeline. We say so when that is the case, even though it is the smaller project.
Can you add JavaScript features to our existing site?
Yes. Calculators, filters, booking widgets, maps and dynamic forms can be added to a WordPress, Joomla, Drupal or custom site without rebuilding it. We write them to work with your CMS rather than around it.
What is Node.js, and do we need it?
Node runs JavaScript on the server instead of in the browser. You need it for an API, real-time features, or a single-page app that needs server-side rendering. If you already have a working back end in PHP or Python, you probably do not.
Can you take over a JavaScript project someone else started?
Frequently. We audit the codebase, document what is there, fix what is urgent, and give you an honest assessment of whether it is worth continuing or restarting. Half-finished framework projects are one of the more common things we get handed.
Will our application work on mobile?
Yes. Everything is built responsive and tested on real devices. If you need something closer to a native app, we will talk you through progressive web apps versus an actual native build before you spend money on either.
Who owns the code?
You do. The repository, the code and the documentation are yours from day one, and we hand over access at launch whether or not you carry on working with us.
