The Central Roadracing Association (CRA) is a non-profit motorcycle road racing club serving the Midwest since 1970 and run entirely by a volunteer board and staff. Its mission is the safest, most affordable and most enjoyable environment for motorcycle road racing, and it delivers that through six AMA-sanctioned championship rounds a year, four at Brainerd International Raceway in Minnesota plus rounds at Blackhawk Farms in Illinois and Motorsports Park Hastings in Nebraska.
What we built
CRA-MN.com is built on WordPress with Elementor and is the operational hub for the club’s season. The site carries the race schedule, results, class and rules information, a comprehensive new-racer section that walks a first-timer through licensing and their first weekend, volunteer sign-up, a newsletter archive and social media updates. Racer and volunteer registration run through MotorsportReg, integrated from the site.
Final Web Design also looks after the site’s security and performance. In 2026 we completed a hardening pass: Wordfence firewall with two-factor authentication for administrators, Cloudflare security headers and HSTS, local font loading, disabled file-upload risks, right-sized homepage images and a clean-out of leftover caching and backup files. A volunteer-run club cannot afford downtime or a hack in race season, so website security is as much a part of the build as the design.
