How does a web design firm actually put A.I. to work on a normal day? In this video I share my screen and walk through the projects I’m running with Claude right now at Final Web Design: auditing an e-commerce store, building a brand-new website for the Miami market, adding service pages to our own site, cleaning up older websites and servers, and setting up a system to edit and publish these videos for us.
What This Video Covers
- How I organize client and company work into separate Claude projects
- A full performance, speed, UI and security review of an online fragrance store
- A video project that will edit, upload and share our videos automatically
- A new lead-generation DJ website built for the Miami area
- New speed, accessibility and conversion rate optimization pages on finalwebdesign.com
- Plugin, file and server cleanup on older websites
One Project per Business
The first thing I show is how the work is organized. Each business gets its own Claude project, so the context for that website stays in one place: our own site, the fragrance store, the new DJ site, and a separate project just for videos. That makes it much easier to pick up where I left off and keep every site moving at the same time.
An E-commerce Audit That Turns Into a Roadmap
For the fragrance and cosmetics store, I asked Claude to evaluate the website for performance, speed, UI, security and overall user experience, and to list the development steps needed to make it the best performing store in its market. It came back with a full roadmap. The next step is working through that roadmap one development ticket at a time.
Automating the Video Workflow
Editing videos takes a lot of time, and with client websites and our own sites to run, it is hard to keep up. So I set up a dedicated videos project where the goal is simple: I record and upload the raw video, and Claude handles the rest, from editing to publishing on YouTube, posting to the blog and sharing on social media.
Building a New Miami DJ Website
Next I show Miami DJs, a new site built to serve the Miami area. I gave Claude the content from two existing DJ websites in other markets and asked it to improve the user experience and focus on leads, phone calls and conversions. The result looks great. From here the plan is to set up social media, Google Business Profile, Google Analytics and Search Console, add a blog and let the site start indexing. Organic leads take time, but this is how the foundation gets built.
Giving Our Own Website Some TLC
Final Web Design is where everything started, so it gets attention too. Today we added several new service pages, including speed optimization, accessibility development, conversion rate optimization and pages for the A.I. tools we work with, such as Claude and Gemini.
Cleaning Up Old Sites and Servers
A lot of web work is maintenance. I show Claude going through older websites to remove plugins and files that are no longer needed and get everything updated as part of ongoing website maintenance, plus a terminal session cleaning up caches and folders on the server side.
What This Means for Our Clients
As a web firm, we can now build new sites, optimize older ones, run marketing and get video content out every day, all at a pace that was not possible before. If you want help growing your business and generating more sales and leads, we can help in any market or local area.
