The Worlds Top Hackers of All Time

Top Hackers
We have composed a list of some of the most famous, dangerous and well-known hackers of all time. Many of these hackers are charged with hacking some of the highest security institutions such as corporations, Governments, NASA and even Militaries of the world.
Cybercrimes from these individuals are related to hacking crimes including fraud, identity or theft of data which are usually computer-oriented crime that involves a computer and an internet network. These following five individuals are known as some of the world’s top hackers and have earned themselves the notoriety of being the best hackers of all time.

Gary McKinnon

Gary McKinnon is a hacker out of Scotland that famously hacked the United States Military and even NASA. He was eventually tracked to his home where he faced extradition to the United States and over 60 years in federal prison for his hacks.
Gary Mckinnon used a password phishing technique to break into many windows professional machines within the government. McKinnon has spoken out about materials such as UFO and anti-gravity files he uncovered during his years of hacking.

Adrian Lamo

Known as the hacker that exposed Chelsea Manning the United States Army criminal that was responsible for providing WikiLeaks with thousands of documents of military data. Adrian was told by Chelsea that he was exposing the materials where Adrian contacted the U.S. military and reported Manning for his crimes.
Adrian was also made famous for hacking networks of many large IT companies such as Yahoo and Microsoft. Adrian Lamo was found dead at 37 years old in his home in Wichita Kansas, and has been reported there was nothing suspicious about his death.

Mathew Bevan

A British hacker who is known for hacking into the United States Government and what was later determined to be South Korean networks. Initially, it was believed that Mathew had hacked North Korean systems and was possibly responsible for what could have caused a war by breaking into the North Korean data.
He was eventually caught and threatened with extradition to the United States for his crimes, but after 18 months the Crown Prosecution Service the principle prosecutions in England dropped the case presenting zero evidence, and the case was ultimately dismissed. Mathew Bevan has commented that his case is very similar to that of hacker Gary McKinnon.

Jonathan James

Jonathan James was a 15-year-old boy that is credited with hacking the Miami-Dade school system, the United States Department of Defense and even NASA. Jonathan was also able to access documents related to the International Space Station. His hacking was said to have caused over $1.7 million in damages.
The South Florida native hacker was convicted at the age of 16. Jonathan James story ends when he reportedly takes his own life in what has been called a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Kevin Mitnick

The U.S. Department of Justice has called Kevin Mitnick the “most wanted computer criminal in U.S. history.” Kevin was an American hacker that served a year in prison for hacking and three years of supervision following.
He was on the run from the FBI for four years where he targeted the United States National Defense warning system and hacking of over 40 corporations. Kevin Mitnick served five years including one year in solitary confinement because the judge went so far as to say Kevin was capable of launching nukes through whistling in a telephone. Since being released from prison Kevin now credibly works as one of the top I.T. security professional for large corporations.
This list was five of the best of the best hackers the world has ever seen. Although hacking has continued to increase as more and more users around the world begin to access the internet, many of these traditional techniques are no longer relevant. Advancements in technology have not prevented new age hackers from finding ways to continue to exploit data or money from individuals, large corporations or even national governments. No amount of security can prevent all hacks and hackers.
