The Adobe CS series is one of the most popular graphic design and layout tools that is used by designers and artists around the world today. While there was a time that the several different resources came packages separately, the CS series was designed to make things simpler, by creating an all in one package where users could download several image editors and template creators at once, without paying excessive fees. Each release has come with more improvements for the end user, and Adobe CS6 is certainly no different. Here areย some of the top advancements you can find with Adobeโs latest release of Adobe CS6.
The UI
Itโs been more than two years since Adobe released a new version of CS, so weโre not really astonished that theyโve updated the UI to make it a little more appealing to the user. The once grey interface is now a very dark grey, almost black. The layout is much more refined than any of their releases, and almost has a Mac feel too it. Itโll take a little bit of getting used to, but soon, youโll find that this layout works much better than previous versions.
TIFF File Enhancements
Users of tiff files can finally rejoice. Adobe has made adjustments that allow for more bit depths in tiff files. This may not play big into those who only play with jpg or png files on a daily basis, but Mac users will officially be in love with this latest release with this update alone.
Mobile Device Presets
There are now document presets built in for designers who do work for mobile device companies and app developers. This wasnโt actually a detail that anyone was expecting, but thereโs no doubt that people will take a quick liking to this unique feature, which we have yet to see on any other photo editing software to date.
Enhanced Vector Tools
Fans of the dotted lines in Adobe Illustrator? Youโve now got the same vector tools in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe CS6, which adds the ability to make sure you โstay within the linesโ when youโre designing for hard copies or direct marketing.
